*Consumer Suggestion: $400 a month....
*General Comment: sorry to hear that
I purchased some health insurace online. The gentleman said it would pay 80/20 percent for hospital.for surgery or illness. We never used it and in march my husband needed a hernia repair it had broke thru the abdominal wall. The bottom line is they paid 70 dollars on a 5700.00 bill. When I called they had every excuse in the book what was the sense of paying 400 a month for nothing. They have so many offices no one has heard of and so many aliases. We are not rich people we tried to get health insurance fairly and this is what we have. there is no justice.

$400 a month....

$400/month doesn't really buy much health insurance....unfortunately.
Here's a quote from their website: "Be Informed! Intelicare Health programs are not major medical or comprehensive
coverage and are not intended to be represented as such. The medical savings
features components of the membership programs are not insurance."
You really should read your policy to see if you want to continue this coverage.
I suspect they didn't have to make "excuses", they were likely following your policy.

Hello,
Sorry to hear that. I am an insurance agent and looking at the website these plans are limited benefit plans. They only cover a certain amount as compared to full major medical plans. Unfortunately there are a lot of agents that don''t inform the consumer about this. Good luck to you!
