American Mortgage Modification Assoc. Or Now Called The Olive Group... Anthony Miller, Paige Kendri Could no longer further process my mortgage modification and is giving me the run around about refunding my $2,000.00 that I paid them... Washington District of Columbia

I recieved a letter soliciting a mortgage Modification about 3 months ago from AMMA. I phoned the company in search of some answers.. Anthony Miller seemed legit and encouraged me that they can help me...to get at least 1 -4 % off my monthly mortgage payment...He said he needed 2 grand up front, but if for some reason they couldn't help us that our money would be refunded.. Oh and that they had a 60 day turn around..I was desperate. So I agreed, as I'm sure many of these other desperate people that they prey on!

Over the next few weeks I filled out paperwork, sent them all kinds of personal information concerning my finances.. Then for weeks on end would not hear a word from them..When I would call they would tell me it's still in processing, or that they're still negoitating.. Then I wouldn't even get back promised returned phone calls. Every time I called they would say that person wasn't in yet.. Then it seemed to me that they change extensions more than the average person changes their underwear!

They are incompitnet, they would tell me only after the fact that I had called them, that they needed this signed or this filled out.. in order for them to continue the process.. I was already 1 month behind in my mortgage when we started this process... Now I am almost 4 all together!!! So know my mortgage company is calling telling me that we will be going into foreclosure soon...I call and speak with Anthony Miller he assures me that's it's just a formality and that the banks do that to scare people into payments, beause they also told me not to make another payment while this process is going on.

At this point now, we have discovered that we can longer proceed because I don't have all the proper paper work needed... now they won't return my phone calls.. I can't even get through to the operater... They have also changed the comapny name to the Olive Group.. So now I am 4 months behind my mortgage and out 2 grand!

All I want is my $2,000.00 back... That was all that my family had in our savings and they stole it... They never got us our modification so I just want the money back...I am a stay at home mother of 3 young girls... My husband works his butt off everyday in construction to support our family... I 'll be dammed if I'm going to lay down and just let these coniving low lifes keep our money!
