i found out AWL deposited money into my account without me taking out a loan with them. so i called my bank and told them to stop anyone from AWL from taking money from my account because i didnt authorized them from adding or taking money from my account. so they put a stop to any AWL transactions. and the are investigating them for federal banking fraud. i hope that i can keep the money they put in it.can anyone give me advice about if the money is mine or will i get screwed

First, the money is NOT yours. Don't spend it. You should be keeping a CHECK REGISTER or some other such record of every transaction anyway. Secondly, no bank has any power to have anybody investigated! The bank is NOT part of any government body! That statement alone in connection with this makes this event somewhat "curious".
In summary...if you are sitting there with extra money in your checking account, don't even think of spending it. Contact them and let them know what has happened. This is NOT your money!
