A 5 year membership in Americana Shoper 111 was given to us as a perk for buying an expensive Rainsoft Water System  Included in that package was a Trips Incentives offer for 2 nights in a hotel, comp, and a 7 night stay in a resort condo for a fee of $16 per night per person .  There is a list of places in the brochure and Miami and Key West are on the list.  I was told that Miami and key West both are ''not avaialble '' for the entire year  - that means that they are never available then and that they have done a bait and switch fraud job on this deal.   We requested either Miami or Key West for any date of the entire coming year and were told that there is nothing available.  For the whole year ?  What does that say ?  I notified Americana Shopper and was told not to call them again about this, but , it is Americana Shopper who sent me the contact for Trips Incentives, and its Americana Shopper who hires Trips to  fill the promise of a 7 night condo resort stay .  Actually I was told by the sales man that this was Free, and its not.  

I have called Trips Incentives several times and met a blank, brick wall.   Their agent, a Jessica, just told me that there was nothing available for the year and offered my money back.  I said i would take any resort ocean front even up to Ft Lauderdale and she come back with that would cost more money still - that I some how didn't read the small print ?   It is deceptive advertising at its best with phrases of hidden meaning, like 'delux'  then.  I worked with Pan American Airlways for 40 years, also with Liberty Travel Agency in NYC  - that makes me just somewhat ahead on anything travel from Mr and Mrs John Q Public.   Trips does not want to give me what they advertise , period.   Americana Shopper 111 doesnot want to be bothered.  They just want to take their money and run  and no one is making them live up to what they advertise.  

Last I heard, Last I knew,  companies were legally obligated to fulfill thier promise to their clients.  I repoerted this to the Florida Atorney Generals office , who wrote a letter, got a double talk response that was not an answer, and it looks like they are going to get away with continuing to dupe the companies who buy and pay for their services  - that is then passed on to the suspecting customer  like me.   I am disgusted with how criminal and deceptive advertising is allowed to continue in this country.   

There is a law but its not being enforced so BeWare .  Stay away from Americana Shopper 111 and especially stay away from Trips Incentives Travel  -- you will not get what they advertise unless its some low cost, no place anybody wants to go , place.   Then maybe. I just called today June 6 2016  quite a few times and this was the result.  They refuse to confirm me on what they advertise.    I am now going to consult an attorney on JA also via Legal Serivess of America.
