Americare Mike Woods District Supervisor Home Assistance Program Denver , Colorado

My elderly ( both 87 years old) parents had a visit from this person offering Home Assistance. July 13, 2010.This man came in to their home and offered.  Professional in-home caregivers and privacy. They would provide non - medical services. 
They were listed as Eating, Cooking .Bathing,Light cleaning,toileting,dressing,grooming and transportation.
They paid $4,000 for one year.  When the program began. All they received was light house cleaning. When calls were made to ask about the other services.  Mike Woods never returned the calls.  The lady cleaning was very nice and both my parents enjoyed having her. She was not the problem. Also when the services first began. My father had a call from the cleaning people asking for the phone number to the man who paid them. ( we found that very unusual?) Both parents were ill.  Father with heart issues. Mom had beging stages of Alzheimer's.My mother passed away January 31. 2011.
At this time Mr. Woods came back over to my fathers and wanted another year. My father refused. We thought that was out of place since the services were not even near being over. With five months left.  We as Adult Children reported this company to the BBB of AZ.
Then cleaning services stopped. When calling Mr. Woods with a different last name. He answered the phone and told me to call the cleaning people. I told him that I did not have that number that he set the arrangments up. He said it was in his car and would call back.
That never happened. He also said well your the ones who complained.
It seems this is Elderly fraud and that he had no intentions of ever doing the right thing for them.
