June 2008 I Noticed my electric rates with Amigo Energy starting to climb. I didn't really focus much on it that month. Then I received the next bill in July 2009. It was unbelievably high!
I went to power to choose and switched providers. My last bill/final bill was in August 2009 was almost 3 times higher than it had ever been. None the less I paid the final bill and was glad I switched Electric providers. I have never received any notice of a late fee or pass due bill or any other bill from Amigo since then.

Today April 23rd 2010 I receive a bill from an Attorney for Fulcrum Energy, representing Amigo Energy for the amount of $37.00 that is past due and they are demanding payment or they will take legal action, and report it to the credit bureau.

Now I read these reports posted all over the web on Amigo Energy ripping off people by increasing the per kw hour rates without any notices.
You know, $37.00 bucks is no big deal, but, the principle behind these CROOKS, is to much for me. I will call my attorney and I will write the Public Utility Com, and my State Reps. I will also copy this to local newspapers, websites, and any place else I can find to report this bunch of crooks!
I will also call the local television stations and make mention they should do an article on these crooked bums so the rest of the people in this area will know not to be suckered in.
