I am OUT RAGED That they get away with this.
They are Slum Lords
I rented a house from Amos & Sara Maibach. Every time it rained. There was standing water would end up in the basement. they did nothing to repair.
Here me and my Daughter ended up sick. S
We couldn't get well. So I call the Mold Expert. Toxic Mold was found in the Basement of high levels. I called the Health Dept. in Medina County They told them to clean it up with Bleach. They too never came out to look at it.
Read up on Toxic Mold It took over the whole Basement. You Can't clean it with Bleach. The Maibach Was told about the Mold in March. They Sara comes out at the end of April will a Wadsworth Police Officer and a bucket and Bleach to Clean up Toxic Mold.
I didn't let her in She would spread the Mold around and Me and My Daughter would get Sicker. I rented that house in Oct,2006 Got sick in Feb,2007. I have lost my hearing do to the Toxic Mold and my Daughter Has Headaches. And congestion. Our animals are sick.
She stood there and cuss me out.
The Officer just stood there. Sara and Amos is a landlord renting to a tenant. She and he is at Fault and She cussing at me. They made no attempt to clean up the house they are renting at xx North st. Wadsworth. We didn't pay rent cause of Medical. bills and Medicines.
We we looking for a place Me and My Daughter to live. But alot of rental house have standing water and Mold. I am not putting us in that sictuation again.
They are Slum Lords we need to stop Landlords from doing this to others. They rent out house that are Health Hazard and they expect us to pay. Then She Sara went around Wadsworth giving me a bad name. I did nothing wrong. There was another Landlord that I rented from That that house need repairs.
Enough is enough.

Toxic Mold

I just recently started learning about toxic mold and the problem with it is that it is not necessarily the mold itself that is harmful but the spores that get released when traumatized. Cleaning it with bleach will make the situation worse because it will spread everywhere, on clothes, furniture, and into lungs. I think she did the right thing by doing that, although I also think the whole situation could have been handled a little better.
I know this cuz we had a similar problem with our home. Once the mold inspectors found a toxic mold, Stachys Bachrys, in our cabinets we told him to wait to deal with it un til after we move. It allowed us to break our lease and get our deposit back.
I am sorry Mary.....mold IS very harmful. My old neighbor almost died from it, and this was in San Diego......a near desert. I wish you and your kid luck.

What I am looking for is some one to take notice that you can not clean up Toxic Mold with Bleach...
Put the Landlord Came over two months later with a bucket cause the City cited her. that is the only reason she came over.. The Health Department to them in the beginning of March that there was Mold in the house and it was making Me and my Daughter sick.. why didn't they come then ..not two months later...

First you state that the LANDLORD (note the proper spelling) showed up with a bucket of bleach to remove the mold, but YOU refused to let her do so.
Then you state that she did nothing to try to clean up the mold.
It sounds to me like she DID make an effort, but YOU would not let her. WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR HERE???
