Although some will deny it there is sufficient evidence to show that at times trips are set up by anastasiadate.com (also known as anastasiaweb.com and anastasia-international.com) to scam men. and the proof of this shall be seen in the following stories:

Larisa Florya from Bolevard Traian Chisinau operating with help of Anastasiaweb.com (also known as anastasiadate.com) and army-of-brides.com (anastasiadate.com's partner) they arrange a meeting telling she does not know english at all to have an expensive interpreter they both will scam to you with multiple reasons as English lessons, no internet, passing two times costs of apartament etc.

I am from the US.. My buddy used that Anastasia web joke. He returned with a 24 yr old, seven out of ten, on the fugly scale. Cost him around $15, 000.00 when all was said and done. Well i got to be friends with her, her English was ok.

I made her some of my xxxx Margaritas one night. She had never had Tequila. Well she started answering all my questions. She told me that it is a well known joke in the FSU.

The agency's trick the men into believing the girls on the web site will be at this mixer party they have in the FSU city. The fact is the agencys place advertisments all over town . The subject is " come to a free party! the stupid american men think you want to marry them,

they have paid for all the alcohol and food. Come and entertain them for a while. At this point i got ill... I left.. so the next day, i asked my buddy.. why her? He told me she had the best english of all the girls there. I asked ... thats it?????????? friggin English was her ticket ???? he replied yup...

This is because they use the method of involving dating agencies. One commentator named Bill from Norway proves this also on the site dating-service.com (also known as datingservice.com)

My story is I met girls from Kiev and had a date with one girl. She actually looked better than her photo which was a surprise. (this is where I got confused) She was sooo pretty that we went to the restaurant of her choice. BIG MISTAKE!

Yeah right! Next thing I'm in an Asian themed antique store (keep in mind we had known each other for 2 hours) and she is taking two items up to the counter. She turns to me and said I think WE will get these items. yeah right We??? Since the items were 25 dollars total I did not complain because

1. She was soo pretty

2. I had come all this way to meet girls and and don't want to start to piss them off.

I got scammed and I'm just glad it was not some expensive pair of shoes or something. Guys..if you choose to do this be careful. I did meet legitimate girls as well that only wanted to have drinks and talk...but guys...BE PREPARED TO WALK AWAY!!

IF she takes you into a store WALK AWAY!!! You think Ukrainian and Russian guys put up with that??? AND it's not a cultural thing. Guys you should not be buying presents of any sort unless you are intimate and in a relationship with the girl.

Guys,if you choose to go halfway around the world...be careful..be prepared to walk away and watch for red flags!!

Joined Anastia Date.com around 3months ago what a disaster after around $750 and a lot of letter writing with no result.like all the sites affilliated with Anastasia ,dependant on how many credits you buy the price to open a letter and respond varies from around $4 to as much as $8

so at the highest cost its $16 to read and reply to each one.WOW!!They approach very attractive ladies on your behalf saying Richie's interested in you and as if by magic a host of replies come to you from these lovely ladies.the name of the game is for you to respond to as many as possible ,if not all ,and a shedload of the elusive spondoolacs fall into Anastasia's moneybox. Attempting to establish whose genuine and who's not is pretty much well nigh impossible.An example.

I corresponded with a lovely lady in my age group and ended up sending around 25 letters to her [in fairness she reponded to them all] She mentioned she had a sick son,arrangements were made to meet but she did not wish to meet in her home city and preferred to meet in Kiev.

So ok so far? you all following me? Then she said she required an interpretor to come with her at a cost of $150 a day plus i would have to pay return flights for the two of them at $300 plus a 2 bedroom apartment at a cost of $175 per night.

Now there also is my return flight to Kiev and obviously running costs while we were all together [Food,Drink.Taxis etc] the whole total without running costs came to $2200 including my flights for 4 nights.

I have since found out that this is not uncommon in terms of the fact that the translator is a neice, cousin family member in some capacity, and generally a lot younger and as is the world over the young people all speak English.

Also the apartment that was recommended is a favourite meeting place for Anastasia members and again i'm told that should the man in question book it a percentage of the cost is given to the woman.

So concluding i reckoned it was going to cost around $3000 for 4 nights in Kiev.Anybody who happens to read this be assured every word of it is true so give Anastasia date a miss its a con.
