I just want to let someone know that Angel Pin Creations turned out to be a disappoinment to me. I actually thought that they might be an honest company to work for. But it looks like all they are interested in is for you to order their kits and send back money "for postage" to them.

The people sitting there in Valrico are just raking in any amount of money that people will send them hoping to find a legitimate job to do from home. Then if you realize that you don't want to work for them they've already got your money. And won't let loose a dime of it to return to you. They keep saying they'll refer my e-mail to the owner of the company about my registration refund of $24.95 then I never hear back.

They even told me there was nobody there by the name of Shelly Long and she is the owner. I told them I was going to report them to everybody I could.

The FTC Says otherwise (Civ. No. 8:1O-cv-335)

AUTHOR: ej7557 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, May 19, 2011

Oh really, Mrs Olson? Well the FTC says that this is not, and never was a legitimate company. Furthermore, you are banned from any such "ventures" in the future.

See website: http://www.ftc.gov/os/caselist/0923191/110302angelolsonstip.pdf

See especially where the order starts on page 5. Particularly interesting is that this "legitimate" company (Shelly R.  Olson) is ordered to return the sum of $3,504,715.91 that you stole from your victims, I mean, "work at home producers". Doesn't sound very "honest" and "legitimate" to me, Mrs. Olson. I'm not sure which is worse. You and your cohorts stealing millions from honest people, or the fact that you tried so hard to convince others that you didn't. ("Michaels comments border on slander" I LOVE it.) Do the world a favor and go back into that hole you crawled out from in the first place. Or hopefully if you couldn't repay the judgement amount, they threw you in a nice, dark Federal hole.

Sincerely,
E

I also was taken in by this company. I sent in my pin and of course was denied. I would love to get my money back but I think it has been too long.

#5 REBUTTAL Owner of company

Angel Pins is an honest and reputable company.

POSTED: Friday, November 15, 2002

I would like to respond to the two comments that have been posted on this site. First the response sent in by Vickie Garcia in St. Petersburg, Fl. We have always taken great pride in our customer service assistance.

I have been able to locate Vickie G's file. On 8/12/02 we received an email from Vickie stating she would not be able to assemble the pins and was asking for her $24.95 registration back.

She did not state being dissatified with the company. Her file was sent to me to look at. With in a week we received a letter from the BBB stating the Vickie G. had sent a complaint in to them. As company policy we responded immediately and issued her a refund of the $24.95. I would like to state that I was in the process of issuing her a refund when the letter from the BBB came in.

I would also like to say no one would lie about my name. My name is Shelly Olson and will always be that no matter who calls.

As far as the complaint that came in from Michael from Brandon, I would very much like to talk with him directly. The statements he made about our company are false and even border on slander. We have many home producers who send in products to us on a regular basis. Anyone who does work for my company and has for a long period of time would know this. We get boxes of products delivered daily from work at home producers. I have producers who have been with me for over 6 years.

I would like to add that we do have an inspection process. But, this is done before any products are sent in. This way you are aware of the quality that we are looking for. Once a producer is approved for production the work they submit to us is rarely returned.

I would like to know whose Michaels resources are. The employees that work for me have for a long time and in his comments it clearly shows he does not know near enough about my company to make such statements. It seems they are aware of my full name and address who are they?

Sincerely,
Shelly Olson

Keep your money

AUTHOR: Michael - ()

POSTED: Monday, October 28, 2002

I've known people who work at Angel Pin Creations in a clerical capacity. I asked the people why they didn't just assemble the pins at home, rather than doing the office job (assumably, the at-home assembly would be more lucrative than working at the office). They responded laughingly, saying that as long as they'd been there, they'd never seen anyone's assembled angels actually be "approved" by the company. (The pins must be approved by the company for the assembler to make any money from them...the pins are always sent back to the customer with various reasons as to why they were not approved, i.e.; wings uneven; ribbon not straight; waist too tight; body crooked.)

The company's advertisements are aimed at people who need this extra money the most and are most vulnerable to these types of situations. I hope people research thoroughly before sending away their hard-earned money.
