On 22 August 2008, I subscribed Process at Home and I the time I felt that I would be a very positive venture. During the following weeks I was called upon to assist in the preparations for hurcaines, Edward, Gustav and Ike. Fortunatley the first two were nothing more than a drill for the Houston area, but Ike proved to be a different story.

Process at Home (PAH) was contacted on 22 Sept and was apprized of what we were dealing with in the Houston area and with my current responsibilities, I would not have time to pursue the endeavor not to mention I needed a refund to feed my family. During the converstation I was told that the refund would be processed and it would take 5 to 7 days to process; I did not like it but OK...deal with it. Within two hours I received a follow up call confirm the refund and I was told to contact my bank to make sure that the credit had been posted to my account. I followed up with my bank and nothing had posted and I thought that maybe the credit had been issued but had not posted. When I checked the following day, still no refund. I followed up with a phone call with PAH and was told that 5 to 7 business days was standard processing time. On 27 Sept when I checked my email this is what I found from PAH:

While I will certainly honor your request for a refund, may I ask you to spend more time to valuate the program. You have a full 3 months (from the date of purchase) to try it out. Read the program, print it out, put the modules to the test. Then if you still don't feel that it was worth it I will be more than happy to issue you a prompt refund. Of course, either way, the bonus ebooks are yours to keep.

Alice,

As I explained on the 22nd when I had the discussion with Adam, due to my responsibilities , and my obligations to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Ike, I will not have the time to pursue anything else for quite some time.

I would appreciate it if you would simply process the refund as per our agreement on 22 Sept 08. I was told that the refund would take around 5 days, then I receive a call from your office in the afternoon telling me to contact my bank and confirm that the refund had been made. Now I am receiving an email asking me to take more time and reconsider; why the waffling?

I am having a hard time understanding why your firm cannot either understand or accept the fact that the metro Houston area and Galveston the tri-cities area have been completely devastated and there are many individuals that have been completely displaced.

The public needs to understand that there are times in life where service to others and the country we live, in takes priority over everything else. If we loose sight of that fact, eventually we will end up as Rome.

I hope and I trust that the refund will be made this weekend.

Again I followed up with a phone call and I was told that it would be 14 days from today before the credit would be issued. Once I spoke with the "Supervisor" there was nothing else that could be done except she would write a report and submit it to corporate for review / approval.

When I was told this I knew I was in trouble. I asked her for the contact information to "Corporate" she repeated the same thing 11 times about here submitting a report and it would be tagged for review. On about the 12th ideration of this speal my asked if corporate existed on not she and she finally admitted there in fact was not corporate to contact.

She was then put on notice that she was being given until 15:00CST on 27 Sept to produce the refund or a complaint would be filed with the BBB as well as the Teaxs Attorney General.

After looking back, and I remeber the video that was done by Angel Stevens, or someone stating she is, and taking about how she had come from a background in New York with limited means and had had her share of financial difficulties and compairing it to what the hurricane victims have and are facing........she knows better that to take advantage of people that are experiencing hardships such as this.

Although I am not what you would really consider a religeous person but I do know, when people and organizations like this come before St. Peter, they better have a co-signer.
