Wife went to re heel a shoe and was givin a ticket that said 18.99. I went back to pick it up and without showing the ticket I asked the man how much they charge for re-heeling; I was told $14.99; I gave him my wife's ticket, he then proceeded to charge me $18.99 plus tax. when I questioned why he is charging me this much when he just quoted me 14.99 and why is he charging tax when tax should not be applied to a service, he said it is because it says so on the ticket and they charge tax because they pay tax on the nails they use and he insisted on charging me the higher price plus tax.
I called 2 other repair stores in the area and both quoted me $10.
