I was emailed by Apikan a week or so ago telling me the same thing, that I was recommended to them by HR or something and said they wanted to hire me to post jobs on job sites. Sounded easy enough, though I did feel like I was being scammed, but I gave it a shot because why not, plus they weren't asking me for any money.

I went online and Googled the company name plus the word scam, and found nothing. Plus their website looked legit, so I went ahead with what they wanted. I signed a contract and sent them a picture of my license. Then they asked me to post one job to Indeed as a test run. Which I did, though they wanted the contact person to be my name, which I thought was weird. I even looked up the name of the company I was making the job ad for and it was legit too. Yet I still felt something was off.

Next, they e-transferred money to me for me to take out and buy Bitcoins with. Which is where it really started to feel weird. Why do they need Bitcoin to post ads on job sites?

It was after this that I Googled their name+scam again, and this Ripoff Report came up, which wasn't online last week when I first researched it. So now I'm very worried as I've gotten involved and gave them pictures of my driver's license. I Googled the person I've been in contact with, April Boling, and only found someone in San Diego, while this company appears to be in Ontario.

I'm still not 100% if this is a scam, even with the other report that was made. It's extremely elaborate, the website has many pages, and even has company testimonials. I don't really know what to do now, I even sent them the link to the other report and they just said don't believe it, but it's pretty hard to ignore now. I'm at a loss at what to do, but they think I'm still involved and going to deposit the money for the Bitcoin.
