I decided to try a different hosting company. I selected aplus.net. I decided I didn't like them. I requested they cancel my account and issue a refund, the very same flipin day!

Below is the email showing they said I would receive my refund as well as my reply after enough time had passed and I still had not received my refund. I gave them plenty of time to respond (over 24 hours) and they have decided, by their lack of response, that they do not have to give me the information relating to my $29.95.

On Friday, March 4, 2005, at 10:22AM, I sent the below message to you regarding the refund that you promised was being credited back to my credit card. I have given you more than 24 hours to respond and you have ignored your responsibility in notifying me as to the status of my refund. I have no choice but to now dispute this charge with my credit card company, and forward all communication I have had with you to them.

You also leave me no choice in any further actions that I have decided to take against your company, such as notifying the BBB, and filing a complaint with same, posting this information on the newsgroups that I am an active member of (there are many) as well as the other groups that I am a member of (several groups relating to work at home mothers, small businesses, and the like).

I am writing this final letter to you to notify you that you have succeeded in smearing your name in the mud. Had you complied with my wish and your responsibility to notify me of the status and promptly issuing my refund, you would not be in this situation. I have made all the attempts that I am going to make regarding this matter.

Rest assured that when I add information to my website on Web Hosting that I will be including a negative review of your company. You have made a terrible mistake in not taking your responsibility seriously!

Sincerely,

Brandi

Amazingly enough, I have yet to receive my refund! You emailed me saying that my refund was on the way. Below is the email message stating just that. This email was received on February 23, 2005. It has now been 8 business days and still no refund!

I have been more than patient in this matter. I would like this issue resolved TODAY. If it is not resolved to my satisfaction today I will have to take measures to insure that others do not have to go through the same hassles as I.

Written word is a wonderful thing. I have all emails sent by me to you as well as all emails sent by you to me. I also have copies of my statements that I would be happy to make available to other interested parties (of course with my account information blacked out).

Please do not underestimate my determination to resolve this matter. I will get my money back even if you do not cooperate. The determination you have to make is will you issue that refund and save yourself some embarrassment or will you make this more difficult than it needs to be and have the aplus.net name posted on all message boards relating to web hosting in a negative manner.

Sincerely yours,

Brandi

Domain = eliteadminsolutions.com
Name = Brandi
User Name = ************
Account Email = ************************
Customer Email = ***********************

Reason = I am very unhappy with the site design tools that you offer. I am experienced with alot of web design programs and yours is the worst that I have seen. You make it very difficult to have control over my site without knowing HTML and writing the whole thing myself. I would like this cancellation effective today!
