Apple one finally convinced me that I should join there company, I need a job really bad and Apple One's job listing all sound so great, and in my neighborhood and alot of them sound almost perfect for me.

I break down finally join Apple One as a temp. I am convinced they must have a job for me even maybe around my house, I already saw 10 listings of great jobs just perfect for me just on the first page of Monster and Career builder.

I made an appointment and went to the office in Westwood, there I had to fill out alot of paperwork and watch an hour long orintation video on how wonderful the company is, and how it was founded and what to do if you get a job.

Now the problem with all of this, was that all those listing for those great jobs I mentioned earlier obviously didn't exsist. I asked my new rep. at Apple one if I could begin at one for any of the listing I saw in my area and her reponse was "well I will work really hard to place you, you realize we have a lot of clients and I will do the best I can, thanks for comming in". I said that's it I just go home, and wait, you have nothing available now I said how about all those listings. she again said "well like I said I will do what I can to place you.

So I it had been about a month and a half I haven't heard anything from Apple One in months so I found myself a job at another company. I change my status on Apple ones web site that I was "not available for work" anymore and that I found a job, not 1 week later does a rep from Apple One call me and asks "are you still looking for a job" I think we may have something.
Now that's timing for a fraudulent company and it's practices. You try to complain about Apple one to Apple One's corporation and there is no way to contact anyone. You just get routed back to the same crappy rep. you started with so I guess theres no way they want to here the complaints on how crappy there company is ran.
It's not really a rip off because I didn't have to pay anything, but just my time and energy that was wasted on it.

Temporary Agency Fake Job Postings

AUTHOR: Blue4341 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, May 21, 2009

I agree with your report about those job postings Apple One put up and then told you they weren't real jobs. I have seen that with so many temporary/employment agencies with posting jobs on their websites and then they tell you these are only "generic" job descriptions and not specific jobs we have. Do these staffing firms just post fake jobs to get people to come in and sign up just to pass the time? What do you think?
By the way, I was registered with Apple One and went through the same waste of time with all that paperwork and video and no solid job leads. I had it with them when they just said to me one day you don't have any real good experience for what we are looking for. I never called again and never will.

I believe you are absolutely right about AppleOne. I'm so fed up with their fake job advertisements that I've started a blog for the purpose of collecting all the complaints about them in one place: tempagencylawsuit.blogspot.com. If I see enough interest, I'm going to pursue a class action lawsuit against them.
