He charged me $600 and has yet to fix my fridge after 2 weeks. Excuse after Excuse Brenham Texas

This repair guy has many different company names.  As one company gets investigated, he opens up under another name.

I found him on the internet. Right now he goes by Appliance Doctor and lives in Brenham, TX.

He agreed to come look at my non-working appliance. He did a quick survey of the appliance and said he it needed several parts. He stated the parts would not cost of $150. Three days later (he says parts delivery was delayed, but I doubt that), he shows up at my house with parts. It took him about 15 minutes to install said parts.

After the installation he said two things that should have been a warning signe to me.

1. The parts cost way more than I told you (he told me less than $150). I asked why he did not tell me before he did the install. His repsonse: I forgot.
2. The appliance is fixed and is good as new, but don't use if for 10 hours. Big red flag here. He uses this 10 hour trick to be able to leave my house while at the same time, I believe him that the appliance is fixed. It's not fixed and he gets away with a check for over $600 for 15 minutes of work.
3. I looked the parts up from the place he ordered them (he left the box in my laundry room). The total cost to him for the 3 parts was $118.81 and not $600 as he led me to believe.

It's now five days after he claimed to have fixed the appliance. I Have called him and left 9 messages and 4 texts. He has a gmail account, but probably fake. He has not responded to any call or text or email. 

I called out the Brenham Police Dept. to file a complaint. We are on wait and see on that action.

I decided to do my own resarch of the repair guy. I turns out he has been arrested 13 different times on a number of charges ranging from aggravated assualt with a deadly weapon, over 10 hot checks, and deceptive trade practices. The arrest and convictions are easy to find on the Texas Dept. of Public Safety website.
