On July 11th we began working with Aptela to provide a VOIP solution for our company. I spoke at length with Jim Regan as we discussed the needs of our system and how it need to route calls and have a way to simulate ACD and do group rollovers. I was ASSURED that Aptela would be able to deliver this solution as we discussed.

On July 20th we received notification and information on setting up our Aptela VOIP system. During the initial configuration we discovered that what we had been told was not correct and there was no way to route calls to a group of people and roll that to another group if the first group was full.

Since the system could not be configured to suit our needs we immediately notified Jim Regan that this would not work.

We have sent numerous emails to Aptela & Jim Regan and they are very aware we never deployed this for our business. We did have it running in test mode for a while but never took it live for routing our 250 calls per day that we receive. Our usage detail clearly shows very few calls and never one call routed into our company came through Aptela.

We have sent numerous emails asking for the account to be closed and a refund issued for the setup since the system would not work.

We were told by Sinclair Grey III in customer service that due to usage in July and August we would be billed for those months. I feel there must be a major breakdown in communication as we have notified them repeatedly that we want a refund and to terminate our service.

On Sept. 16th we sent a detailed email containing the above information to the following contacts at Aptela:
provisioning@aptela.com
billing@aptela.com
cwhittington@aptela.com
jregan@aptela.com
sales@aptela.com
partners@aptela.com
info@aptela.com
harry@aptela.com
alan@aptela.com
eric@aptela.com
brad@aptela.com
tmurphy@aptela.com
amacdowell@aptela.com
lea@aptela.com
ggailard@aptela.com
msmith@aptela.com

We never received one response, not a phone call, not an email. We then sent a certified letter asking them to stop there activity. This also was ignored.

As of the date of this email, Oct. 10th, 2006 Aptela continues to bill us and attempt to take money from our bank account. We are seeking legal remedies.

Beware Aptela at all costs, our experience is that they will rip you off and not even respond to emails or phone calls and will continue to rip you off indefinitely.
