ARM ALISSA LOPEZ / KEVIN RIVERS Threatning phone calls, harrassement buffalo,ny Nationwide

I received a voiceman from a woman named Alisa Lopez.  When i was able to listen to it she stated that i needed to call her within 24 hours or they were going to have me arrested with the charges they have against me. I called her back and she said that i owed $410.00.  I told her that i could pay but not until the following week but not the full amount that i could not afford that much out of my check.  she told me that they have very strict guidelines that they have to follow and 50.00 was not enough that i needed to have a 100 dollars or they were going to have the police department serve me papers and have me arrested at my place of employment that then i would prosceuted and i would be responsible for all court cost. 

I told her i wanted to speak to her supervisor and she passed me to a kevin rivers who also told me that 50.00 was not enough that it had to 100.00 or i was going to jail. he then proceeded to tell me that he didnt care what i had to do grab it from the air or dig through garbage cans for change to get the other 50.00 but i had until this friday to get it or i was going to be proscuted and be put in jail and would incur all of the other court cost on top of the 410.00.

I told him that he couldnt threaten me or talk to me that way, he said dont try and talk law with me I am a lawyer and know the law very well, that he manages that office and has employees that report to him.  that he pays his bills and takes care of his family and i should have done the same. i told him that i could pay 50.00 the following friday but i couldnt do anything tomorrow.  he told me that i would be arrested by tomorrow night and hung up.

i then called my fiance and told him what happened and he called him and this kevin rivers.  this guy then procedees to tell him that he needs to pay this he told him that he challenged him to pay it.  then there were some other unmentionables that i will not post on here but they were definately unprofessional and should have never been spoken by a collection agency.

i have filed a complaint with the ftc and the consumer fair act.  I dont know why anyone would want to hire this kind of collection agency to represent their company.  Their very disrespectful, harrassing, not willing to work with the customer,and threatening.
