Arnel Property Management; The Homestead Property Management Slumlord Continues to Rip-off Tenenats Costa Mesa California

I belive Arnel Property Management has been in the business of ripping off their tenants for years now. In 2001 a massive class action suite was filed accusing Arnel Property Mangement of ripping off thousands tenenats to the tune of millions of dollars. They settled for around 1.5 million.

The company has now found more creative ways to continue stealing money from their tenants. This includes teaming up with a company called Parking Network Solutions, also located in Orange County.

I live in a gated community both built and managed by Arnel Property Management. Upon moving in I and the other tenenats were verbally informed that guest parking was allowed within the community gates.

Arnel Property Management changed this policy mid-term, but decided not to notify any of the residents that guest parking was no longer allowed. They then told Parking Network Solutions to disable any guest vehicels that were parked behing the property gates, and to fine the owners of the vehicles an ammount of $100.

Both Parking Network Solutions and Arnel Property Management have agreed that no tenants will be reinbursed for fees they incurred due to Arnel's decision. I suspect that Arnel Property Management stands to profit off of the ticketing of these vehicles, and that is why poicy was changed without notifying the residents. This way they stand to make money off all tenents as they find out about the new policy only after they have paid $100 in fines.

I don't suggest anyone ever rent any properties owned or managed by this company. You can find numerous articels in the OC Register and OC Weekely detailing Arnel Property Managements less than ethical methods. They truly are in the business of ripping people off, essentially stealing from their own customers!!!
