ARS Rescue Rooter Houston - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Company charged me $225 for a thermostat that you can buy in Home Depot for $24.99 and $550 for a circuit board that another company sold for $250! "Customer Satisfaction" rep rude and very unhelpful! Internet

ARS charged me $79.99 each time they came out to diagnose my problem.  Seemingly there was nothing wrong, until the 3rd time they said it was the circuit board and thermostat. They then charged me $225 for exactly the same thermostat in Lowes, which was $24.99. Then $550 for a circuit board, which another company got the same board for $250!  First the said they would give me 15% discount and the $79.99 refund when I complained.  I said that would be great!  Then they came back and said we can give you $50 and $79.99 and I said fine!  Then they said they couldn't me anything!!  Really not sure why because I was happy with what they were offering!  Oh and they broke the stairs going up to the attic but said it was my tenant because he was a big guy!  So they were implying that because he was a bigger guy then he broke the stairs!  The "customer satisfaction" department is a joke and kept saying that she would live up to her promise but never did and kept changing her promise!  I must admit that I was very naive when I used this company because they were the only one I had heard of.  Only now I am reading how bad and much of a rip-off merchant they are!!  Lesson learned!  I hope no one else encounters the same problem!
