This is dedicated to the truth behind Michelle Powell of Dallas, Texas. My family use to be friends with this photographer and even gave her jobs for our photography gigs. Afters years of friendship Michelle Powell took keys to a storage unit of ours, and took several items  with the intent on paying for them.

Many emails were exchanged back in forth thus providing proof that this person had agreed to pay for the items. When Michelle refused to send any payment of any kind she claims that she “Left the Couch Outside” because she didn’t want it anymore.  Keep in mind this is after the fact the woman went to Austin and got our items out of storage, and then drove them to her house in Dallas.

Later we realized that in addition to the Cantoni leather sofa that was stolen a box of camera lenses with Canon/Nikon lens was missing.  In addition to this a $1,200 Italian lamp came up missing after her visit.

Michelle Powell was a person that we use to trust.  My family step father, mother and myself respected her.

BE AWARE!!! MICHELLE POWELL KNOWS EXACTLY HOW THE LEGAL SYSTEM WORKS.  SHE WOULD KNOW, SHE IS A CONVICTED THEIF AMONG OTHER THINGS.

MICHELLE POWELL TOLD MY MOTHER THAT SHE WAS REPORTING THAT I THREATENED HER LIFE WHEN IN REAILITY I TOLD HER TO PAY HER DEBT OR I WOULD TELL HER SON THAT SHE SMOKES AND SELLS WEED MARIJUNANA.

This person claims that she got a protective order against us after she STOLE thousands of dollars worth of furniture our of storage and we were being threatening.

Michelle Powell knew exactly what to do in order to get what she wanted.  She is a snake, and she thinks she is smarter than other people.

The funny thing is that anyone that knows powellpictures.com knows this woman can’t even control what she stuffs down her obese face.

Honestly, it would be best for her child if the truth came out and she was exposed for who she is.

END RESULT: I COULD NOT FILE CHARGES AGAINST MICHELLE POWELL BECAUSE SHE KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO SAY AND DO.  SHE CLAIMS SHE PUT THE COACH OUTSIDE WHILE I WAS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY AND I DIDN’T PICK IT UP. SHE DID THIS SO SHE COULD KEEP THE THING!!!!!!

THIS WOMAN IS NOT IN JAIL ONLY BECAUSE WE TRUSTED HER WITH THE KEY TO THE STORAGE UNIT.

A special note to our favorite person: I hope you hope that couch breaks into pieces under your weight. You coul dnever afford ANYTHING that nice in your ENTIRE LIFE!!! ENJOY this STOLEN furniture because it is the nicest things you will probably EVER own in your lifetime.

I bet if they knew the truth about you they would snatch your child away from you in SECONDS!!!

You are a shameful mother, a discrace as an example and utterly pathetic. Hopefully this site will enlighten you to another stage of possibilities in life.

I don't care who filed this orginal report or how they personally know Michelle Dumser. What I do care about is the persistant research this person did to finally locate Michelle. I was a bride ripped off by Michelle. My name is Melissa Alverson, maiden name Burton. I was married in Brewton, AL on December 23rd, 2004. (You can confirm this with your records Michelle). I filed a report in 2005 under the name Courtney living in Macon, GA. I did not want to give out my personal info because I was wary of putting it on the internet. To my surprise I received and email 4 years after filing the report because an "angel" filed an update with all of Michelle's new contact info.

I received a proof book from Michelle in a timely matter. I attempted to contact her to order the photo's included in the package I had paid for but was never able to personally speak to her. After leaving her several messages she changed her message machine to say my order would not be filled until fall 2005 because I had waited too long to contact her. (Sorry, my husband deployed shortly after the wedding and I had more important things to concern myself with than ordering my pictures the day I received my proof book). Michelle's delay tactic was a complete lie because shortly after leaving all the messages all her numbers were disconnected and her website disappeared (as it once again has since these reports have been updated). I never heared from her again and all this was before Katrina. The first two or three years after my wedding I tried everything I could to find her. I had numerous family wanting to know where there pictures were. I finally gave up and hired a professional photograper to reprint and enlarge some of the pictures my family had taken. Michelle's pictures were at best compared to what my 4 year old niece took with her disposable camera.

I don't know what you were doing Michelle but its time to make your wrongs right and writing complete slander against people in print is a huge mistake. Whoever this girl is I thank her because she found you when I could not. It does not look very professional when you call someone the devil and say your "one of God's children" because "one of God's children" would never say such a thing. I don't want my package pictures which I paid for in full in December 2004. I want my negatives. You say you still have them and I have no need for the pictures. I can understand people going through hard times, but Hurricanes don't wipe you off the face of the earth for 6 years or erase wedsites! If you still have all your records why did you never call your clients once you were settled, explain the situation, and make it right. People would have understood. I would not have cared if you called me two years later and told me what had happened if you were going to give me my pictures or refund my money. I find your story a little hard to believe, but believe this. I have my receipt showing I paid you in full, my credit card statement, all of our correspondence leading up to the wedding, phone records of my many attempts to contact you at your many different numbers, and all of my family to testify the crime you commited against my husband and myself! I kept everything in case I ever fould you.

I could not do this before because you "fell of the face of the earth" but since I have current info on you it is no problem. I previously filed reports on you with the BBB and PPA. I have refiled these reports with your updated information, contacted the Navarra PD and have someone legally representing this case. So unless I here from you soon, you will absolutely being hearing from me! If your going to run this time, you better run fast because we are right on your heals this time. What your doing will eventually catch up with you. With the ease of communication and availability of information these days you won't be able to do what you have been doing for much longer. I believe your days as a "Professional Photographer" are coming to an end.

You have already "ripped" me off but I don't want this to happen to anyone else. Weddings are a once in a lifetime event for most people and its an absolute crime for you to not only steal people's money but to also steal there happiest memories! It is unthinkable!

 NOW I KNOW THERE IS NO LORI FROM RIVER RIDGE. ALICIA I KNOW YOU WROTE THIS FALSE COMPLAINT. I LOOKED AT MY RECORDS AND THERE NEVER WAS A LORI FROM RIVER RIDGE. YOU SAID I WAS DRINKING AT THE RECEPTION NOT TRUE WHY BECAUSE MOST OF THE WEDDING RECEPTIONS ARE VIDEO TAPED. THAT MEANS ALL I COULD DRINK WOULD BE DIET COKE OR WATER YOU LIAR.

michelle stop lying to everyone by saying that you lost everything in katrina....you were already moved away to another state when katrina hit louisiana soil..How can you call yourself a professional by drinking while you are suppose to be working???i never drink at any of the receptions that i work.my sister taught me right!! you call yourself traditional,master and professional and on your website you claim to capture every event??but,by this report you completely suck!!!!

excuse me you didnt lose your equipment in the storm liar!!! when the storm hit you were already moved safe and sound out of louisiana!! you were never affected by katrina so stop lying to everyone on here..also michelle,new about these reports for several years and never responded to them,now that i wrote how to find her she is trying to patch up her buisness..wow!!like they are really going to trust you now!! michelle has managed to write some dirty thing about my buisness on here saying im not for real!! i'm alicia morales with eye4lifephotography,degreed,educated and LLC...ask michelle when's the lastime she filed taxes???you are not licesned and anyone can sign up with the PPA even my 14 yr old kid....also people,michelle dumser had all of these deals...ppa,photographers guild and still f**ked everyone..it's all irralivant..the woman is horrible,has shadows behind her subjects,can't photoshop to save her life...,over exsposed images,oudated props..unprofessional.. now that she sees i started a buisness now she trying to fire up what was nothing again..but,by playing dirty,cuz she has nothing on me!!!

I also have had michelle take pictures for me and have not received my pictures but she has my money. I think the only reslt to this problem is a class action suit against Michelle.
