Asheboro Nissan sold me a used 2000 Buick Century they knew had a bad transmission. They did not "allow" me to view any other used cars. They used the "this is the car we want you in technique".

When I took it back for them to check it out,they told me first they could not detect the problem,so I drove with one of the tech's there then they noticed the transmission slipping.

The car only had 42,000 miles on it when I bought it.
When I took it back to them,the car had 46500 on it.

The tech's said it was nothing they could do.
They did not put it on any diagnostic machines,they looked underneath the car and check it out with a flashlight.

I went to a Buick Dealer in Greensboro and they said the Transmission would have to be overhauled or replaced totally.

I bought the car in January 2002 and problems started in mid April. The state law in NC says the window sticker is to be in the window when the car is inspected. The window sticker was not there when I inspected the cars exterior before we took it for a test drive. The window sticker (nor a copy) was not presented to me at time of sale.

I also talked to the dealer mgr who told me I would have to talk to the salesperson,instead of trying to intercede and maybe rectify the problem. This has cause me GREAT hardship.

I can't even get to work now because of the car. I was not even "OFFERED" an extended warranty. Not once! I'm looking at the prospect of having to relocate back to my parents home in Philadelphia because I can not get to work now...the reason for me getting the car. This will also be reported to the Better Business Bureau.
