Aspen contracting Lie to employees, don't follow labor laws Lee summit Missouri

 My husband recently started working for this co as a "project consultant" aka salesman. First week was training and according to dept of labor must be paid at min wage. When they were asked why there is no hourly pay for training he was told training is optional. On this very site the ceo respond to a complaint saying they require all consultants to undergo extensive training. He will be paid a "bonus" after 90 days if he stays to make up for not being paid for training. This according to lawyer is against the law. He was told he needs no special auto insurance to drive around in our personal vehicle that they want to put their Co logo all over. After talking to insurance this was a lie and had he put those stickers on the car and not informed the insurance we would have been in serious trouble if caught with them most certainly canceling our policy. When confronted with the fact that what they told him was not true the co then told him but you can get a tax deduction for the increase in what your insurance cost. This Co will tell you anything to try to get you out there selling jobs for them but when it comes to being honest with those they hire they fall very short. They don't care if they put you in a position that could cost you your auto insurance they don't pay for their training unless you decide to stay which they know most won't because after 90 days storm season is about over and your done working till next season if you would be crazy enough to return to a co that treats their employees as second rate. If your thinking of giving this place a try don't waste your time with a co that could care less about bothering to be honest with you from day one.
