If you have a problem you can never talk to a representive by phone. You can only talk to a computer just to take your payment. If you are late they always add on the late charges to your next billing statement even if you try to pay the late charges with your required payment they still add another one on to the next cycle.
The cost to pay by phone is extremely high compared to all other companies and some don't even charge you.
You can't talk to them but if you are late they will definitely contact you, and talk to you and will wave the charges just to get you to pay by phone.
The finance charges are monthly and annually. You have to pay the balance off by the due date or you will be charge with additional finance charges. God forbid if you get cash advances that is a daily finance charge.
My wife and I had some finanical problems a while back and they were not cooperative at all and they kept adding on those charges and raising our limit to keep us current and we are trying now to get this bill paid off.
We cut the the card over a year ago, and when we get this paid off we will never deal with them or any other company that keep up this kind of practice.

You have a lot to learn about Credit Cards William

This isn't a ripoff, at least not what you reported. This is normal everyday business. I work for one of the largest financial institutions in the world, and can tell you that charging late fees on your next payment is done by all credit card companies.
Now, first of all, Aspire is a card for the credit-challenged, and you were given a disclosure notice with the card, which tells you exactly how the company operates. True, it's a little difficult to read, but it's all there.
Secondly, finance charges are accrued daily in all cases. And yes, if you don't pay it off, you are responsible for the finance charges, and yes, cash advances are always higher than purchases.
You don't have anything to complain about. You haven't been ripped off. Try concentrating on cleaning up your credit instead, then you won't need to get these nasty credit cards, but can get a normal card with 0 to low interest rates, and better terms and conditions.
