Dallas Daniel Ward is a theif.

I'm shocked that I didn't follow my instincts in this situation and look a little closer at the red flags but based on the 10+ ripoff reports for the last 17 years, I'm sad to say, I'm not the only one.

My main intent is to collaborate with others to contact the Tarrant County District Attorney's office.  I am aware that one other victim has done this and I will work to discover what the outcome was for that person.

We recieved a nice mailer and contacted Daniel (who had no address or even LAST NAME on his business card) quoted us $5500 our job, $2400 for the tile renovation and $3300 for the famous "Plaster Seal", with a completion date of 7-10 days.  My husband was even smart enough to request the MSDS for the plaster seal because we couldnt find any information about but Daniel said it was something they created and it's worked magnificently for 20+ years.   He provided us with two referrences to contact which actually gave him good reviews.  Also, the books with before and after pictures. Unfortunately we trusted him.

On July 10th, we paid him $4,026 up front and the check was cashed immediately.  John (bald/tattooed guy) worked on the tile demo and re-install for about a week.   He completed it and it looks nice but we'll see if it starts falling off soon.  We requested to have the step tiles re-done and that is where the work stopped.  John didn't know how to cut it into the plaster since they weren't replastering and we stopped having our calls returned.  A few texts over the next 7 days stating they were trying to find the right tools and materials.  Daniel then called my husband and said he was out of money.  We told him absolutely not.

We called relentlessly with no luck. He sent me a text 10 days after abadoning our job stated he could no longer work with us and would "send us a bill!" I informed him he owed us a refund based on his quote he owed a REFUND.

We had another company come out and discovered we had immense plaster damage and hollow parts and we had $3350 of work.  I'm grateful that Daniel scumbag didn't get to the "painting" part of our pool.

I sent Daniel a final text stated if he didn't return our money, we would contact Arlington PD to which he responded he would cooperate with copies of work orders and he sent us a final bill.  Unfortunately, as many others have stated, we're being passed to Civil Dispute department.

I have collected information from this site and will take the next step with the District Attorney.
