This company will try and lure you to a presentation, which is extremely long and boring by the way, with the promise of "gifts" that you have "won", then try and sell you extremely overpriced kitchen ware and try to make it seem like it is a good deal. Then, they will talk you into putting it into layaway, so basically you are signed to a contract to feed them money month after month without ever receiving what you are paying for. If you don't pay, they will harass you with calls and letters every week, even going as far as to call your relatives and workplace.

If you have been contacted by them, you are probably a young adult...old enough to sign a contract but young enough to be a little naive. This is what they feed on. Be smart people and don't fall for this scam!

Associated Consultants, A Quality Cookware Company from Minneapolis, MN

In regards to "Sanchez2011":

Our company takes extreme pride in our products and our customer service.  These products are NOT sold in retail stores and are very unique and high quality!  Our products have always been shown through demonstrations.  Brides and grooms are invited to attend our demonstrations in exchange for their time and some really nice gifts.  There is NO obligation to buy anything, whatsoever.

It is our way of showing our products, demonstrating them and letting you sample our foods that we cook up for you.  At the end of the presentation, you can order our products if you wish to do so.  There is no pressure whatsoever to order anything.

Should you decide to order, you may pay for it in full at the time of the purchase, finance it, or put it on layaway.  It sounds like this individual must have put it on lay away.  When we do lay-aways, your merchandise is ordered in to our storage facilities and purchased by our company through the manufacturers.  Your order is processed, invoiced, state sales tax is paid out and the accounting is done on the order.  Because of the expenses and time on our part, we ask that you fulfill the order.  That is only fair.

Unfortunately, we cannot please 100% of the people 100% of the time.  That is impossible for any business.  We are NOT a rip off company!  We have been in business for almost 40 years now and we are members of the Better Business Bureau and have an A+ rating.

We are sorry that you may have had trouble paying for it but we always work out payment arrangements with people if that should happen.  Most of the time, it does not.  You are able to pay off your lay-away at any time or make larger monthly payments or convert it to a financed plan.

These are NOT overpriced products.  You will have them your lifetime, your kids' lifetime and even your grandkids' lifetime!  Obviously they have to have a tremendous amount of quality in order to last that long!  So naturally, they are expensive.  That only makes sense!

For any of you that are questioning our company because of this individual, you should check out our websites and tesimonials and/or call our company and talk to us!  We can be reached at 612-871-7700, otherwise here are our websites:  www.associatedconsultantsusa.com www.chop-cook-eat.com

Sincerely yours,

Associated Consultants

I actually purchased from the company

Accosiated Consultants use bridal shows and state fairs to get a certain customer base. They do lure you into their showcases with prizes but you do get the free items or cruises. I personnally recieved the crystal toasting glasses they offered.

Every review I have read about the company is bashing them about trying to scam people out of their money. The company is real and accredited by the BBB. They have been around since 1978 and still holding strong because of their products.

I purchased a standard set of cookware from Associated Consultants, it came with a place setting for four of silverware, china and crystal glasses free. They do overprice their cookware a little but in the end it is worth it. When I finished paying off the balance and recieved my cookware i was amazed at how well it performed compared to other cookware i have purchased in the past, and it all have a lifetime warrenty.

Read the reviews out there about Associated Consultants, none of them have either actually bought the product or finished making their payments to recieve their cookware. If you're going to say a company is a scam then do a little more research. Just give them a call and ask, they are very nice people.

I have missed a few payments here and there but never have they ever called anyone other than me about my payments.
