On February 28, 2019, in The Springfield Republican Newspaper, Massachusetts, there is a short article from the Associated Press in Washington, D.C., entitled, "House passes major gun bill.

It starts off with the statement, "The Democratic-controlled House yesterday approved a measure requiring federal background checks for all firarms sales and transfers ..."

Then, it adds in the second paragraph the vote represents a "mayor step to end the gun lobby's grip on Washington and begin to address an epidemic of gun violence that kills thousands of Americans every years."

First, this article is unsigned.  We have no way to identify the writer, suggesting conscious fraud.

Second, the author of this piece of junk revealed his incompetence and prejudice when he added it is a "mayor step to end the gun lobby's grip on Washington."

Third, it compounded his fraud with the comment the Bill is meant to "address an epidemic of gun violence."

There is no such problem as "gun violence." Nor is there an "epidemic of gun violence." That is a line of continuity of nonsense originated by members of the anti-gun community the writer has accepted as true without question or research, clear evidence of his intellectual incompetence. It just reinforces his own prejudice on the subject.  In truth, gun-related crime is statisically insignificant in relation to many crimes throughout the United States the Mainstream News Media consistently ignores, such as medical malpractice (a much bigger problem).

The author, as well as the Associated Press, is intellectually dishonest by refusing to identify himself.  Perhaps he is aware of his fraud?

There is no evidence of a "gun lobby's grip"in this controversy.  It is often used as an excuse to rationalize the incompetence of gun-control advocates to prove a relationship between guns and crime.  In addition, the major reason they have been unable to pass anti-gun legislations has been its obvious violation of constitutional law, particularly Amendments 2, 5 and 14.

In addition to its violations of constitutional civil rights, such legislations and laws consistently fail to address the cause of gun-related crime.

They just harass the honest citizen.
