On July 8, 2008 I parked at the EZPAwn on S. Congress, I was a customer and entered the store. I then went next door to the DPS office and when I came out my F-250 was towed. I asked teh manager of EZ PAWN if he had signed off or requested the truck be towed as I was a customer. He told me the towing service had a sign and pulls unattended cars. He did no request nor sign for the truck to be towed. I will state again I was a CUSTOMER. These bastards are skum and mus tbe stopped. To top it all off on the Call Receipt they list a J.P. Judge Raul Gonzalez, to file complaints with. "I wonder if he is on the payroll." My friends JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED AND I HOPE WE CAN SHUT THESE GUYS DOWN ALONG WITH ANY OTHER PIECE OF SH*T COMPANIES THAT OPERATE THE WAY THESE GUYS DO."

First of all, you should call 512-974-5000 to file an offense report for an illegal tow. Once this process has been completed, give a written statement to the Police Detective to initiate a criminal investigation. This towing company has a known history with law enforcement in cities they wreak havoc on.
Secondly, your chances of beating this company in that Judge's court is slim, since the towing company's part owner attorney is buddies with this Judge.
Your best bet, is to go after EZ Pawn since they are the one's who gave Assured authorization to tow your truck.
Towing companies like this company thrive in business because victims just complain and don't take the time and necessary action hinder their criminal activity.
