At The Beach Tanning Salon 'AT THE BEACH' A TOTAL SCAM! Another form of 'WHAM, BAM, THANK YOU, MA'M! Wichita, Kansas

At The Beach is the WORST company I have ever dealt with!  Customer service is NON-existent!  The company 'trains' brain-washable teenagers to torment customers with GUM-chewing-smacking, sparkle- lip glossed, IGNORANT 'Ooompa-Loompa's' with Glow-in-the Dark teeth to say things like..."Uh....like HI!...Um...are you like 'NEW'?  or what? ...What did you say your name was again?  Cindy?..you mean like with a 'D' or what?...like with 'Y' too, right?"

(continued attempt at her job) ... "Uh...hold up...." (finishing cell phone call to boyfriend)..."Yah!...like Yah!...you can TOTALLY tan for free, DUH!...I'm the new assistant manager as of today, since they fired another girl , AGAIN!   uh..,...hold on"  (back to me, the customer) "Uhhh ....WHAT was your name again?...like 'C' 'I' 'N'...WHAT?"   "OH!...you want to Versa?  SAW-reeeeee! (sorry) ...the machines broken down AGAIN!, but do you want to buy the same sh**t in the can?..it's the same sh**t ...you just rub it in if it runs down your legs, and it's only FORTY dollars for eight ounzes. Do you have a YEAR membership yet?  You should like TOTALLY get it...it's cool cuz it lasts you for like a YEAR! ...and like you can get like spray moisturizer for extra and stuff!"

(continued nonsense)   "Okay,..stick your finger on the sign in pad, 'HON',  .... DARN that thing!..Okay,. like,..rub your finger somewhere GREASY on yourself and try it again;  DARN it!  (after 6 tries, it works)  "Okay,...like do you want a towel or what? ...WHAT 'HON'?...a hair cover?....SAW-reeeee! (in the same 'sing songy' little munchkin girl voice)  ...we're all out,..AGAIN! (giggle) ...do you want like a SHOE cover?...you can sort of cover your hair with it kind of, but the stuff won't stain your hair,  well, not much.  "Hey , how come you like don't have a YEAR membership?  You should TOTALLY buy it...it only turns out to be something like  $500.00 or so a year,..but you'll SOOOOOOOO save money,...it's a totally awesome deal and it gets me my points! YAH!"  (throws a stapled stack of legalities and fine print over the counter and talking as fast as possible, blabbers out some more double-talk)  "No?...REALLY?...w-e-e-ll,...you'll be SAWWWREEEEEE when you're all white and pasty for Thanksgiving! ...like a TURKEY!...EW!"

 So, in summing up,..the place smells,...is dirty,...they are always out of towels and hair caps, and one girl actually told me to get one out of the trash can in the little room!  They NEVER know your name, though you've been coming regularly.  They take 15 minutes before you can go tan, to make you go through the HARD SELL ,...EACH AND EVERY time for the YEAR contract and if they can't sell you on that,..they take up MORE of your time by trying to sell you MORE of their INSANELY expensive products  and say things like...."You need it to get a better tan, because the Versa Spa doesn't work very well"  !?!?!?! Then they say their machine is broken and send you  to the Rock Road location..only to drive all the way there to find that THEIR machine is broken too, and then they want me to go ALL the way over to NORTH Rock Road and the overpass, when I picked Hillside location BECAUSE it's in my neighborhood!!!   The girls are SNOTTY, RUDE, ARROGANT, and couldn't care LESS about your needs unless it will make them more commission! 

 I will NEVER go back and will tell EVERYONE what a RIP OFF this company is!  They gave me a run around and double talk at the end of my contract, screwing me out of time I still had and had already paid for.  The girl actually said,..."If I let you use the Versa tonight, even if we DO owe you, my NUMBERS WILL BE OFF".      Can you say....OMG!!!?!?!?!?!?   PUH-leeeeeeeze!   Criminals, really;  total rip off artists CONNING people!
