Hello My husband and I live in Maryland and our family is growing so we decided to purchase an SUV for room. We went to the website autotrader.com inwhich we heard was a good site to look for a vehicle and they have no control on what a person advertise. So any way we sumed our SUV search to a 2004 Nissan Armada which was for 14,999. We spoke to a salesman by the name Hernan and let him know we was interested in that vehicle and informed him we was scheduled to fly down there that Saturday to pick up this vehicle and once getting there we test drove it for 15 minutes and he told us to be careful not to speed because the police was very tough on speeders. So therefore when we took it for the test drive we kinda cruised very slow and my husband looked under the hood, clean oil and etc. so it appeared to not have any problems for what he could see. So we put a 8,000 cash down payment on this SUV and also purchased a extended warrenty for 1200 which is no good to us. We are to make monthly payment of 300 until it was paid off. So on the road half the night back to Maryland we took a break and when we turned the car off it smoked really bad out of the tailpipe. So we tried to call but they was closed for the night and the rest of the weekend, so Monday we called and spoke to Hernan and he said "try getting the oil changed again it could come from the vehicle been sitting a while" So we took it to the Nissan Dealer and they immeditly told me that it was a bad engine and I told them I have an extended warrenty that covers the engine but after the Nissan Dealer spoke to the warrenty place they said "since it's so much sludge and build up burnt on the engine that was an exsisting problem before the warrenty and they can not fix it. I also asked Hernan the salesman if they could take something off my Balance and he said he had to speak with his boss but I was pushed away for weeks before I spoke to him and he told me that there is nothing they could do so Iam stuck paying for a new engine which cost us 8500 and the balance of this screwed up vehicle 7000 and I tried to seek professional help but I was told Georgia do not have a lemon law. BE AWARE of ATLANTA AUTO MAX!!!!!!!!!!
