I had shopped around for moving quotes and it did not seem to unreasonably low, it WAS NOT a too good to be true price.

They were supposed to pick up the furniture Sunday AM, guess when they showed up? They called Sunday at 10PM to say they would be there Monday AM. Another wasted day and woke up at 10PM.

Once they got there, the contract was signed for the estimated amount, and I was told by a really "southern" man named James that they would store my furniture for free until I arrived at my destination to receive the furniture. I estimate 10 days...his exact words word "Just call me about a week before you get there."

I received a phone call the next day from a man with very poor English telling me the movers were on their way to the destination. I was like, "What? I was told you guys would wait for me to get out there to recieve it." He agreed I could do that but storage would come with a HEFTY price! And also that my bill was $400 more!

I asked James on the phone when booking this move if there were any hidden costs involved, what will my credit card be charged, I wanted to know the "out the door the final price." I told him I did not want any surprises. He assured me this was out the door price. He neglected to tell me that I would have to pay for material to wrap up my furniture and that he would charge me labor charges for my mom to pack 1 box! Yes, you heard right!!!

My mom had some old stuffed animals from my childhood that she wanted to send or was going to throw away. The movers gladly said "oh here is a box, no charge." So she packed all those good for nothing teddy bears, and guess what? I was charged for the box, tape and LABOR!!...yeah the same labor that my mom used to pack the box!

On the phone James threw in 50 extra cubic feet (too be nice as he put it), well the move was actually 50 cf over.....and had to pay---$200 more! He underestimate my move by 100 CF--come on for someone supposedly in the business for years, that is really off for a basic bedroom set.

Bottom line, don't trust them.

They charged for bogus labor (my mom's labor), boxes that were told would be no charge, ectra CF that they did not factor in.

Oh and they taked on another charge to unpack...go figure!

So last conversation was that my goods were going to auction if I did not have them delivered the next day (hello I am not there to receive them). and since I will will not agree to storage fees.

Oh and it gets better, you know southern charm James? No where to be found....can't get him on the phone, he won't email back...on one conversation on Saturday he told me he worked 7 days a week b/c his boy needed shoes...bet his child has some really nice shoes!
