AT&T / DISH NETWORK bundle package, where to start? First, dish totally screwed up my installation. After taking off from work and waiting all day, the installer installed the wrong receiver and only had one in the truck. A week later they came back, only the installer did not give me the instruction book on how to operate the DVR. It has been over one month and I still haven't gotten it. Everybody I talk to tells me to call somebody else.

Next, I was promised big savings by bundling. You can imagine my surprise when my first bill was $654.00. Not to mention the $400 I paid Nextel to end my contract, because I was going to be saving money.

The icing on the cake was I was told when I subscribed, I would have a 30-day trial period where I could opt-out of my contract if I was unhappy. The Dish Network service is absolutely horrible. It goes out, very user-unfriendly. I want my direct TV back. I would rather pay more money for Direct TV. The only problem is that when I called to Opt-Out they told me that there was no such 30 day trial. Now I am stuck for 2 YEARS because the cancellation fees are so high. It is almost worth paying, but I can't afford to save any more money with this company.

I am going to cancel this service the day my contract expires. Only 690 days until I can get my DIRECT TV back. I had it for over 6 years and loved it. Silly me thought they were all the same.

Perhaps I was naive and didn't ask the right questions. Please learn from my mistakes. Do not trust AT&T. Get all plan quotes in writing, including all fees and taxes, and stay away from Dish Network
