At&t Phone Company MILITARY SUPPORT FROM AT&T REALLY? WHEN AWAY CHARGES YOU WILL PAY Internet, Texas

Being an American who has served my country, I am disturbed at the complacence shown by most American companies.  They all have something on their websites stating they support our military and yet I have several bills from the
subject company that say different.  This company can afford to give all of their employees free phone services but a man who is in Afghanistan cant seem to get his account frozen until he returns because they want his money.  Did you
know if you walk into one of their offices you are told that they cant help you with this.  Walking in with his orders and a POA, I tried to remedy the problem but was told I had to e-mail them or fax them.  My son, the soldier, has tried
to contact them on a phone in Afghanistan , and has no success in getting them to help.  Realizing this is a telephone service, shouldnt they have realized that this was an overseas number and that nobody would be desperate enough to
take a trip to Afghanistan to avoid a phone bill?  At&t doesnt have service over where he is and therefore he may be over there months with a bill accumulating.  When I contacted them on the first bill after he left I was told that his account would be frozen and all he owed was the month before.  Recently they are telling me that he had a land line that he must pay on as well.  He has never had a land line.  How in 3 months is his bill going up and extra services are getting added? I am desperate to get help with this matter and am not sure where to go or what to do.  A soldier should not come home to thousands of dollars in bills when he cant take his lunch hour to deal with it.   His bad days consist of his vehicle getting ambushed and blown up and waiting 37 days for a shower.  If that doesnt tell you how little control he has over a company
doing this I dont know what else I can say.
