I've had nothing but problems with ATT since I switched to them. That was in August.
For the entire First month, att could not get my internet to work. They sent out 3 separate technicians. Finally, they figure out the problem and got my internet working. They "credited" me the first months internet in the the amount of $42.95. I payed a bill of $29+change and went about my merry way.

For the next months cycle, I recieved a notice in the mail that I was responsible for a bill of $350 (and change). They had charged me for all the service calls, plus each indivual long distance call for my phone (I should have unlimited) AND they we're charging for their highest speed internet, when that's not what I had. They old me they would remove the charges, but it would take 2 or 3 billing cycles and I was still responsible until they we're fully removed. They told me I had to pay $50 that Friday to keep the service running until the credits could come off. Whatever. I did it. I needed the internet to be working.

The very next month I got a bill for over 200 bucks. Some of the credits had been applied, some of them hadn't (including the 42.95 for first months internet). On top of which, they had, once again, charged me for each individual long distance call. The woman I spoke to said she "fixed" the problem and on Nov 26th, I would owe $79.00 and change. After that i'd be caught up. WRONG AGAIN. I go to pay my bill, $122. The remaining amount is exactly $42.95. The same as the credit they we're supposed to give me. Last time i called they told me that the internet credit hadn't been applied yet. This was halfway through Nov. I call today and they tell me that it was applied at the end of October.

I haven't canceled it yet because I need to have the internet so i need to find a better deal first, but I will. I've been with ATT for 4 months now and I can see now why they offer a promotion to switch from cable, they're trying to make up for the fact that they suck.

If Att agreed to remove the 42 dollars in charges, I MIGHT remove this.

However, I have been given some permanent credits and for the last 2 months my bill has been exactly right.
