I received a letter in the mail claiming i won a sweepstake that i had entered online. they sent me 2 checks one my prize-which was 42,250.21 and the other which was 2,280.53 stating that the second check was to cover the cost of the issuance cost for the surety bond. it says that in accordance with our disbursement policy, you prize award has been forwarded to Seured Bond Bureau (SBB). Also stating that financial institutions Will not neogotiate your enclosed winning unless accompanied by surety bond certificate. then towards of the letter was a name and phone number to call to for further instructions...the lady her name is Kim Allen and her number is 902-412-2793. I Actually called the number which was late at night after i got home to to see what it would say on the automated phone message and it had a man mention SBB...and his voice was a heavy accent. then what became odd to me was the woman called me back! and i then proceeded to tell her i had won a sweepstakes and she quickly responded that the "computers" where down and to call back in the morning. so then i decided to look on Google to further invesigate this company, because it just all seemed odd.. especially when she called me back at Midnight. also i was looking more into the letter its dated for October 15, 2007. but stating in the letter is says the sweepstake took place on November 5th 2007. below the letter is signed by Cible Bahn-Award Dispatch Manager. although i did try cashing the checks or really get ripped off i found tons of websites about this company being a scam and would like people to know that its still going on. This needs to get stopped!
