This company was sent to my home by Lowe's to service a GE Refrigerator that I purchased through them.  I had two issues, my water dispenser was not operating and the refrigerator was not cooling.  The tech, Chad, said I needed a new water valve for the water dispenser and a new damper for the refrigerator.  He charged my credit card $308.51, ordered the parts and returned later to install them.  After taking a second look at the water dispenser he said I didn't actually need the new valve, instead he recommended I use a hair dryer on the door to defrost the ice in the line or I could unplug the entire fridge and defrost it.  So, he took the water valve with him and said that my credit card would be reimbursed for that part.  After a week or so had passed and I still didn't see a return on my credit card, I started calling the company.  Every time I was directed to Lanny Lasaters voicemail where I repeatedly explained the situation.  After leaving several messages and never receiving a return call I decided to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Lasater's response to the BBB was that he would follow up and if I was correct I would see a reimbursement.  Guess what? I never heard from him and big suprise, I never received a refund.  On top of that, I defrosted the fridge as instructed by the tech, it defrosted the line which worked for about 48 hours until it froze again.  More recently, and within the 1yr. Parts and Labor warranty on work performed promised on their invoice, I called to have someone come back out and look at why the fridge still isn't staying consistently cool.  The receptionist said they would be out between 8-5 the following day.  Yet another surprise, I haven't heard from them since.  I guess I was red flagged because they owe me money!!! 

This could have been so easily resolved with a phone call on their part.  Strange how some people stay in business! 

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!  Hire somebody else with good reviews from the BBB!
