We bought THREE Cars from Auto Star. 1st car... was in decent condition. Which led to the 2nd. It had Lucus oil in it to MASK the smoke because it had bad seals. Ok.. Call me an optimist... but I took this one and have repaired and upkept my vehicle going forward. TWO AND 1/2 WKS AGO... we bought a mini cooper. We had new tires and a new altenator put on it over 1000. of work. YESTERDAY the Transmission fell apart. there Was no warning for this at all. No trouble with gears... nothing. When we called the dealer... they basically said Your problem.
I now understand that they sell thinly veiled FAILING vehicles to unsuspecting customers. I am filing a BBB report a ripoff report and writing to local and atlanta papers. Every consumer vehicle I can find. I work for a Lawrenceville company for the COO and I will make sure all 400 employees here will KNOW not to go to this dealer.
The repayment for our loyalty as customers? Was to take advantage and screw us. DO not trust your safety or that of your family in a car from this dealer.
Can't call your salesman... they have turnover because they treat their sales staff like they do their customers.

Your confused, obtuse, remedial email is at best a waste of pixels.
Selling unsafe vehicles, is unscrupulous. ANY media outlet available to us personally and professionally will be utilized to illuminate this business from targeting another consumer.
YOU WOULD BE WELL ADVISED to understand that IP addresses and eDiscovery are admissable in a court of law.
Since ours is not the only complaint. Auto Trader, Cars.com, AJC, BBB, Ga Dept of Consumer Affairs. Will all be advised and show PROOF of just how consumers are being targeted and sold unsafe vehicles.

Used vehicles are ALWAYS sold AS IS unless you have purchased an extended warrenty. You knew this going in. So go ahead and make your false reports and show the ENTIRE web exactly how ignorant YOU are. The BBB WILL NOT help you because they have NO TEETH!!! They are a "consumer advocacy" group with no official power to force a business to do anything. You have to be careful spewing all over the web. The web by definition is a media outlet. So if you break those media laws, THEY have a legal remedy. And dont think just because YOU are sitting in your undies at the computer desk that YOU are anonymous. All it will take is a court order presented to this site and they will have ALL the proof they need to file a civil suit against you. Make no mistake, THEY do have better lawyers then YOU. So watch what you post so you dont have them going after you.
YOU KNOW that used vehicles are sold as is, so everything YOU are doing on the web is designed to try and BLACKMAIL them into fixing YOUR transmission problem. Unfortunatly its going to backfire on you since THIS site doesnt remove ANY post EVER. Since THEY would ask that YOU remove ANY post you have made in order to do the repair. YOU wont be able to do so, so THAT plan gets flushed.
It really just sounds like your throwing a tantrum online because THEY wont eat the costs of repairing a transmission that THEY are NOT legally liable for. YOU ARE!!!! This is childish behavior on YOUR part. YOU expect some sort of loyalty to superceed LEGALITY. Life doesnt work that way. YOU purchased a used vehicle, YOU purchased it AS IS. YOU have to pay for the repairs.
