It also states that purchases be made within 9/20/07-10/17/07,rebate request must be made within 30 days of purchase .To me that alone is false advertisement that is not 30 days.Call it a typographical error if you want ,and the deadline for rebate appt.10/17/07 ?
I hope I will get my rebate on the wiper blade although I've don't think so,just because of the attitude of the rebate representative.I inquire on a few clarafication of the printing that was'nt to clear, All she kept saying was just do what it say.I was trying tell her I looking with a magnifing glass and still can't make out what it say,it look like an Arabic type lettering.I made copies of my rebate appt.and my proof purchases.My copies printed lot better,I read where it states to circle the amount of purchase on receipt and reopen the envelop to make sure I had done so. Wish me luck! because some of these rebates are a gamble.

I was afraid I'd crap-out with their Bosch windsheild wiper rebate but they proved me wrong and I applaud them for giving me my rebate.I guess I wagered on the right one that time.Please except my apology.

I do not see anything that shows false advertising. Maybe you are just not understanding what you are reading. From what you have posted, you state that the rebate offer runs from Sept 20th , up to Oct 17th. As long as you buy a pair anytime between those two dates, fill out the rebate form, send it in with your receipt, and do that within 30 days of your purchase, you will be sent a refund for the cost of one wiper blade.
By your own writings, a person has until tomorrow to purchase blades and then send in for a rebate. . As long as that person sends the rebate in within 30 days of tomorrow, they will get a one blade refund. I think that your confusion is the time frame of the rebate promotion. The sale promotion does not have to run 30 days. They could have made just a one week rebate offer or a one year rebate offer. The length of the promotion versus the deadline of mailing the offer in, has nothing to do with the other. The bad thing about rebates is how long it takes to receive them. Usually 6 to 8 weeks.
Finally, understand that this is not a Autozone promotion, it is a rebate offer that is being made by Bosch wipers. The rebate form is designed, created, and supplied by Bosch. The same goes for any business that offers a mail in rebate for specific products. Instant rebates are something that the local business offers as a sales promotion. Mail in rebates are what the product manufacturer offer for sales promotions.
If you still think that you have an issue with the rebate, then you should have it with Bosch wipers.
