So I was unhappy with the paint on my mirrors. I called and was given a return #. However my brother had gotten very sick. He had stomach cancer. Spin failed to return them with in 30 days after given return #. However the do come with a 1 year satisfactory return on the items. After contacting them the said this."eturns are only accepted within 30 days of the original purchase date of 03/23/13. Due to the issues that you originally had with the parts we authorized a return within 30 days of the date of our last contact with you, which was 04/29/13.

We apologize, however at this late date we would not be able to accept a return for these parts"

. I said this" Your site and eBay clearly state"All of our products are high-quality and covered by a 1-year limited warranty, effective as of the original order date. Should you experience any issues or receive a defective item, please contact our customer service department so we may find the best solution for your problem" I had emailed due to the paint on them was NOT satisfactory. Is that not covered under your"All of our products are high-quality and covered by a 1-year limited warranty, effective as of the original order date. Should you experience any issues or receive a defective item, please contact our customer service department so we may find the best solution for your problem."? I have found the paperwork and emails from the last response. I would be more than glad to forward them. They have yet to respond.

i can tell you even when I do send them back they will SWEAR I had broken them, scratched , installed and broke them. This place has 1 SHOT at making this up.

We Did Our Best & Waited for Your Return

AUTHOR: AutoandArt.com - ()

POSTED: Monday, December 30, 2013

Our warranty is a 1-Year Limited Parts Warranty for covering items found to be defective and/or fail to perform at their fundamental operational level.  This warranty is not a "1 year satisfactory return on the item."

Our Returns Policy states "new and unused items may be returned only within 30 days of the original purchase date."  Outside of 30 days, we do not accept returns unless it is a defect/malfunction issue that qualifies for coverage by our 1-Year Limited Parts warranty.

This customer purchased a driver-side mirror then returned and got the corresponding passenger-side mirror a little later. Soon after, we were told the finish on the passenger mirror didn't match that of the driver's. We determined the item may be defective so we created an RMA#, sent a label to return it, received the return, and sent a replacement item.  At that point, customer was still unhappy with the finish.  Upon investigation, we determined this was not a defect so we let customer know they may return the item (at their own expense) and we would gladly refund in full for that item once we receive it in new/unused condition.  Customer was provided with an RMA# for the return.  This all took roughly one month from start to finish.

Roughly EIGHT MONTHS afterward, the customer asked if they could still return the item.  As the time frame was outside of our policy, we declined the return.

We regret having to do so (in any instance) however we have to protect our other customers and ourselves from liability.  When a product sits outside of our control for a significant amount of time, we do not know what has or has not happened to it; product performance can be seriously affected by a wide range of variables including usage, accidents, storage conditions, and so forth.  Inspection upon return may not always reveal all that has happened to it, so the limited return window of 30 days is part of our maintaining the high quality our customers have come to expect for many years.  Even the most well-meaning customer could wind up returning a part that is faulty without realizing it.

It is frustrating(!) to be referred to as "shady" when we remained in good contact with the customer, listened and reacted to the voiced concern, sent a replacement without delay, and in the end allowed the customer to return the replacement for a full refund of that item.  We did for Steveo20619 as we do for all of our customers - work very hard to provide excellent service and value. After over 13 years of business so far, the result is thousands of satisfied customers who shop with us again and ratings among the highest in our industry.

As for Steveo20619, we hope your project turned out great.  We also regret hearing of your brother getting sick and wish he and your family the very best in that regard.  We appreciate your business and hope you will see we did our best to assist you.

I didn't damage them. One is black with a beautiful clear coat. other is faded black no clear coat.(big difference) one is in super condition ! The other is in s**t condition. As in the email photos.(you think I have a pile of mirrors just sitting around?)  After spending 5,000$+ on body work and paint on my car YES when I order TWO mirrors they need to look the same. NO MATTER IF THEY CAME IN ONE PACKAGE OR NOT!! Come on!!! You can't find one to match fine all I wanted was to return them, and order as a pair from you. You wouldn't of lost any money!!!! But no you're customer service is too stupid to pull their head out thier butt to see hey maybe he wants matching mirrors (duhhhhhh)on his NEWLY PAINTED CAR!

"This is not the FIRST TIME they sent a part in poor condition"

Okay, how many bad parts have they sent and how many have you returned?  Are you a serial returner?

" i can tell you even when I do send them back they will SWEAR I had broken them, scratched , installed and broke them.

First you said you were just unhappy with the paint...then you state the above.  DID you break and scratch them?

This is not the FIRST TIME they sent a part in poor condition. they can bend the words all they want. It just goes to show HOW SHADY THEY ARE. And how fast they will screw their customers. These purchases were not satisfaction from the start!! It's clear that I'm screwed. You just let everyone see how you do it and how fast you can do it. Nice job ! And just it time for Xmas. Looks like its coal for you Autoandart!

Return...

AUTHOR: Tyg - ()

Heres the problem for you. You called in and got a RMA. Then youre going to claim the paint wasnt right. I can tell you this much, the warrenty is for the QUALITY of the paint, not a customer satisfaction warrenty. Since you already called for a RMA and did not return the items in the 30 days allowed, then you file a claim that the item doesnt meet your needs, and you have called them attempting to get your money back. They will more then likely dismiss your claim. I dont see them making this "right" for you.

You have done too many things that are already shady. They already have your money. The deal is done. They are under ZERO obligation to return even one penny back to you. You will probably have a fight on your hands. Its the wording thats going to get you. YOU think the 1 year LIMITED WARRENTY applys in your circumstance. But its the LIMITED part thats going to hit the hardest. They can use that LIMITED against you. They will probably say that your case doesnt qualify for the LIMITED warrenty. As by your own actions you are attempting to circumvent the return policys because you missed the original window to do a return. They will call you on that and probably wont allow a refund.

Good Luck
