Original Lease to Own contract with substantial down payment and monthly payments for 2-yrs. turned into nightmare ordeal, when vehicle was payed-off and traded-in for new car. Autogardens transferred original sales contract 4 months after purchase to a Debt Collection agency for payments even though we were never late, and made payments in full. Inquiry into transfer with both parties resulted in that Autogardens was responsible for contract, and collection agency for payment. Now that vehicle has been payed-off to collection agency from dealership with new car purchase, we have been told by Autogardens that we can not get title to vehicle, because we did not pay Them off, and that there was a GPS device installed without our knowledge in the vehicle that they want $1000. for if not returned, now that they know the vehicle was sold. Unfortunately another person that I know purchased a vehicle from them, made all there payments to Autogardens dispite the contract transfer, and can not get there title after pay-off either. (We checked, and they dont have a GPS device installed as stated)

Unfortunately, the bank that funded the program removed the program and called and
collected on the contracts. WE NEVER SOLD THE CONTRACTS, NOR Transferred contract
to an outside company.
The customer does have the title for the car, AND IF THEY WOULD OF PAID US,
WHO THEY HAD A CONTRACT WITH, VERSUS PAYING TCR, THEY WOULD OF GOT
THE TITLE MUCH SOONER.
It is untrue that anyone who paid a car off with us did not receive title to their car.
