On February 7, 2005 I purchased a pre-owned 2000 Ford Taurus from your Tulsa location. I had numerous things checked on the vehicle as this was a large purchase. After driving the vehicle we found that some things needed some attention.

The representative that was assisting us was very helpful and represented your company well. He informed us that your mechanics put each vehicle through a vigorous inspection. He also informed us that while test driving the vehicle if we found anything that needed to be fixed they would take care of it. So we agreed to purchase the vehicle. Upon signing the necessary paperwork we added these things to the agreement.

We initially wanted their mechanic to fix the problems with the vehicle right away; however, he was working on another vehicle. Your representative explained this to us and told us that we could bring the vehicle back at anytime.

Since then we have tried to contact the company on three different occasions. The first time was on Monday February 14, 2004, they said that they had no idea what we were talking about. On Monday February 21, 2004 we presented the paperwork, your mechanic took the vehicle back to have these things fixed. After waiting for the mechanic to become available he drove the car into the garage. He returned and told us that it all had been taken care of.

At that time we thought the matter was closed, however to my surprise when we left the dealership the problems were still there. At this point I became very frustrated as I was having to waist valuable time and money to not have my problem solved. I have called to discuss my problem with no resolution.

I had not even had my vehicle for a 30 days and it failed to start on many occasions. I believe that this vehicle is a lemon, and have reported this to the appropriate agencies. The problems with this vehicle have caused me to be late to work, and that in turn is affecting my income. Nevertheless, I have continued to make my bi-monthly payments on the vehicle on or before the due date.

On March 7, 2005 my temporary vehicle tag expired, and Automatic Auto Finance could not provide me with the vehicle's title so that I may register it with Oklahoma Department of Transportation. The manager of the Tulsa, OK location stated that they could not locate it.

I received a message from Jason, a representative of your company, he requesting that I call him back at 479-750-3332. I have contacted this number on numerous occasions only to be told that I didn't have an appointment. Other times I was told that that he was in meetings. I have left messages with his Administrative Assistant requesting that he call me back and what times I would be available. It is not convenient for me to make telephone call after telephone call as this is a long distance telephone number.

On March 14, 2005 Jason left a message for me to contact him on March 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. I contacted him promptly at 11:00 a.m. and I was told that I could not speak with him because he was in a meeting. I rely heavily on my vehicle because it is my only means of transportation.

On March 17, 2005 I contacted Jason and explained that I had visited the Tulsa location on numerous occasions, as well as contacted them by telephone inquiring when I would be able to have the vehicle repaired. He stated that I had not taken enough initiative and that the Better Business Bureau could not help me. I was very surprised by the lack of customer focus that Jason exhibited. He made me feel as if I was to blame for the problems I was experiencing.

On March 22, 2005 I spoke with the manager of the Tulsa location in regard to my complaint. He was very rude, but he told me to bring the vehicle in and the repairs would be made. He also provided me with the title to the vehicle, but because I received it late I will incur penalties that are beyond my control.

On March 28, 2005 I took the vehicle to your Tulsa location. After waiting nearly 3 hours they brought the vehicle out and stated that they could find no problems with it, but upon driving the vehicle off the lot I noticed that the problems still existed. I informed your manager of this and he said to complain to the Better Business Bureau or whatever because it was not his problem.
