Automotive Aid Donovan Hutchinson  is a Liar and a Thief Gilbert Arizona

I got Donovan's name from a guy who gave me his name and number if I needed a mechanic who charges much less than a shop at a gas station.  I needed my Denali's window assembly unit replaced due to it being stuck in the down position.  Don quoted me a price of $200.00 for the parts and labor.   Decent deal I thought, so I gave him the ok.

After dropping of the car in the morning and picking it up later that day, Don claims he replaced the window assembly unit, however, it needed to be welded to the frame to make it more stable.  I thought that was a little odd, although, my biggest mistake was not asking for the old part.  After a few weeks of getting the runaround when he was going to finish the job, I brought this up to my buddy who is a car guy.  He said lets take a look at it.  Lo and behold the part was never replaced, it still had the original window assembly unit on. 

I brought this up to Don and he swore up and down the part was replaced.  So I suggested we go the dealership where he bought the part.  At out meeting time, Don doesn't show and the dealership said this didn't come from us.  Caught in a lie, I gave Don once more chance to come clean, he still denied it, said it was a "special order."  While this was going on, he would NEVER answer his phone or return calls, I would have to go to his house on Pony Lane and hopefully catch him.  It was obvious he was avoiding me.

Bottom line, Donovan Hutchinson cannot be trusted, he is a thief and a liar.  He will cost you more money in the long run.   I should have read the two previous negative reviews before letting him work on the car.  I'm sure there are many more "bad experiences" that just were never posted.  Beware!!!
