Automotive Scientific Inc Liars and Scammers Rogersville Tennessee

In the spring of 2013 I sent my Nissan Sentra ECU (engine control computer) to Automotive Scientific.  The only thing scientific about this company was their pattern of dishonesty.  To shorten the story I returned my ECU to them twice after they claimed it was repaired.  The second time they claimed they replaced the drivers.  It still did not work and the third time they said it could not be repaired.  I asked for it back and that took another month or so and a number of chat sessions to accomplish.  I worked as an electronic specialist for several decades (installing and servicing CT and MRI scanners); anyway after they could not fix it; I opened the case to look at the board to see if there were any new solder connections indicating that they had actually replaced any parts.  All solder connections will appear dull over a period of time due to oxidation.  New solder connections when done correctly will be bright and shiny.  There was not any sign that any component had been replaced.

They also claimed to vehicle test their repairs; impossible when you consider the number of vehicle brands and that every brand has dozens of different version of engine control computers depending upon the engine model, transmission type, other options and so forth.

They also promised to refund my money which I never received.  They have a policy that it takes thiry days to process a refund.  

They do not accept credit cards; only PayPal.  PayPal charges can only be disputed for 45 days.  They easily push you out of that 45 day window with the run around they give you.

Bottom Line; don't walk away from these guys; RUN!  Better still don't even consider doing business with them.  Don't let them victimize you as they did me.
