A black 1994 Mitsubishi 3000 GT was taken to Automotive Unlimited on Friday June 25, 2010, because of a Transmission Failure.

Peter Spenter, who represented himself as the owner of the repair shop demanded payment in full before any work would be done.

The total amount of repairs was $1,750.00. This amount was given in cash to Ms. Cassandra Herrera - The Officer Manager and girl friend to Peter Spenter.

Peter assured me that the car would be ready to go with a completly rebuilt transmission and oil cooler by Wednesday June 30, 2010. With a 3 Year unlimited warranty. Peter lied to me every day until Teddie Diez took over as shop manager.

The transmission was removed and the front wheels removed and stayed on the rack until  Last Friday, July 23, 2010.  It has been taken off of the rack but is still not running.

A Mr. Teddie Diez took over as shop manage the second week in July and asured me that he personally would oversee the project. Teddie Diez has lied to me every day since.

I have to call several times before anyone answers the telephon and then no one is available to answer my calls.

1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT

AUTHOR: Bob - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, August 20, 2010

My name is Dave, I work for Automotive Unlimited. This car was in the shop for a while. The technician who took it apart quit the shop. As he was loading his tools, he took alot of bolts and critical equipment to this vehicle( torque converter bolts, trans mount and shifter linkage and lots of bolts to the car. Myself and another shop employee took our own time and went to Nevada pick-a-part to try to reasonably purchase the missing items. There were no 3000gt's in the whole yard. I assembled as much of the vehicle as possible. Without the crucial parts, there was no way we could have stuck by the time we told the gentleman it would be ready. We were eventually able to track  down the technician who took out the transmission, turns out he had a box of parts for the car. After I recieved these parts the car was finished the following day. We also charged this gentlemans air conditioner and gave him $20 for fuel for the car to try to make up for the time he was without his vehicle, and I totally understand his frustration being without it. Our shop performed the best we could in this situation. Also for that transmission to be rebuilt should have well been over $3000, he was charged $1750. I just wanted to give some info on our side of the story. Our shop is extremely busy and alot of times we cant keep up with the phone calls, but we do the best we can. We have alot of loyal clientele and repeat business for the work we do. Thanks for your time.
