I ordered parts on 05/13/07 and my credit card was immediately charged. After 4 days of not getting shipping information, I called customer service. The representative stated it would be shipped next week, maybe. I waited two more days and called again. When I inquired about the order the man from AutoPartsGiant hung up on me. I called him back and asked to speak with a supervisor. He said he was the supervisor. When I asked him about my order he stated he could get it out in two days if I agreed to pay an additional $15.00. I told him no and to just cancel the order. He said he would send in a request but doubted the order would be canceled. It has now been two weeks and I still cannot any information. I have called and have always been treated rudely and never given any status on my order. I have sent e-mails which have never been answered. I contacted the Better Business Bureau but this company will not respond to their inquiry as well. This company, if it is fact real, is a total consumer ripoff!!!

POSTED: Saturday, May 26, 2007

On May 25, 2007, I received an e-mail from their customer service. They stated they shipped my order. Of course they have. It's been over two weeks and I already have got the parts from a reputable supplier. This supplier (Advanced Auto) had the parts in stock and were almost the same price.

These people at Autopartsgiant are always pulling a fast one. Now they might allow me to return the parts, assuming they actually shipped them, with a 20% restocking fee. I'll have to get a return authorization number for this before I can ship them back. This should be another problem as the customer service dept likes to give you a hard time about everything. They'll probably hang up on me again. I called them 3 times before they shipped the parts and told them to cancel the order. I also sent 3 e-mails stating not to ship. Of course I got no reply.

I think they only reason they even sent me the parts is because I reported then to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, the Ca Dept of Consumer Affairs, my credit card company, and WNAC TV channel 5 consumer awareness.

I wouldn't get parts again from these wise guys if they gave them to me.
