Avant Capital Partners Unethical, charged for services they could not provide Greenwich, Connecticut

Avant Capital was engaged to find us a loan for a commercial property we were buying. They charged us a fee for entering into an agreement with them and they went out to find us a loan. Needless to say, they did not deliver and left us in a huge bind. They blanketed the market with solicitations to every lender out there and poisoned the well so that we were blacklisted by all of the lenders and no one would touch our project. They then lied to us about who they sent the loan to. Additionally, when we tried to walk away they claimed that everyone they sent their package to was now their source and we could not get a loan from anyone without having to pay them a fee. We did not want to do business with these guys and they tried make it impossible for us to get financing for our project anywhere. They are complete dirtbags.
