Avas Flowers Fraud - Scam Mahwah New Jersey

 I ordered flowers and a balloon on 8/2/16 for my Granddaughter's birthday.  I was assured that the flowers would be delivered on 8/2/16.  The associate repeatedly said it would not be problem and the flowers would be delivered on 8/2/16, no problem.  The flowers were not delivered!  I did not receive a call that there was a problem.  They hit my credit card though!

On 8/3/16, I called was put on hold 4 times.  Their message machine hung up on me all four times.  Finally, one of their sales associates came on the phone with me and finished the call with me.  The idiot taking the order wrote down my email wrong and did not give me a receipt.  She told me that they attempted to deliver yesterday but nobody was home.  I got my daughter on the phone and confirmed she was home all day yesterday.  This was just a scam!  They are located in NJ but advertised in California.  They told me the flowers and balloon would be delivered on 8/3/16.

The flowers were finally delivered at almost 5:00 pm on 8/3/16.  Big surprise, no balloon was included with the delivery even though I paid for it.  I was sent a survey this am.  I gave a poor review.  I received a form email apologizing and explaining there are various problems which prevent on time deliveries such as gated communities, road closures and lack of access. None of that applied in my case. They took my $ and failed to have somebody do the delivery.   Do not take a chance with this company.  I would suggest contact a local florist yourself which is what I will do next time!  So even though they failed with their commitment and promise, they are giving me a $15 credit on my next delivery.  I think not!
