Fraud happened June, 2008

The above named company is dealing with classic and premium cars. They advertise their cars internationally over eBay and some other popular internet platforms. I bought from this company a 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 4.2 Roadster for US$ 75,180. The car was promoted as freshly restored - stripped down to bare metal absolute perfect work on engine, paint and interior. A great opportunity to get a excellent and stunning Jaguar E-Type! On all pictures I got from the dealer the car was looking as described. I paid an extra amount of US$ 15,000 to get the car shipped by airplane to Stuttgart (Germany).

The car arrived in Brussels (Belgium) instead of Stuttgart (Germany). From this point the car was going simply by truck to the target destination. I found out that the airplane fees for Belgium was much cheaper instead of Germany. This was the first signal of getting ripped off.

When I called the custom in Germany to make an appointment they informed me that the car will for sure not run and it would be better to call a wrecking service. I had a really bad premonition of what was to come when I arrived at the airport. And it was bad! The tires are old, simply painted dark glossy black with shoe polish. The wheels are blind, rusty, spokes missing and last but not least painted with base coat! The base coat is also on many parts of the engine and the complete exhaust system. If the bonnet is opened you can see that the cooler, braking system and steering wheel is painted in british racing green. The pumper rubbers must be originals from 1967 and light brown instead of being black. Both door frames are by far not painted well the same if you open the trunk. So it looks like that the car was painted only from outside what means the car was never ever stripped down to bare metal. The new interior is amateurish at all. They even did not change broken brackets that the interior fits how it should be. Everything is wobbly and warped. The trunk has no interior at all! The ignition knob is broken the front panel heavy wear out what means it must be common for a longer time to start the engine by bypass it. The engine from the dealer described as marvelous running is a nothing else then a nightmare. Cylinders are scratching, valves are unsynchronized, the carburettors are not adjusted correctly. The engine does not grumble it prefers to do peng instead. People looking around if Cowboys having a gunfight! I owned a piece of s**t for US$ 75,180 plus shipping fees. I have no other possibility to restore this car now in a professional way - a financial disaster.

So if you are interested to buy a car from this shady dealers - think twice!
