Went and reserved a truck rental from this Budget truck provider to move my daughter from Dallas to Waco...1 1/2 hours away. The on line reservation was for 2 days ( I wanted 1 day rental, but it automatically changed to 2 days). Budget sent me a reservation confirmation which shows the 2 day reservation. Went to pick up the rental truck and the office manager insisted I had the rental truck reserved for 3 days, when I tried to show him my confirmation with the 2 days he became very irate and said he didn't know what my paper was, but the reservation was for 3 days, started yelling and said I could just leave the truck or call 1-800 number.

When I said ok I would call he threw a piece of paper at me with the phone number on it. Budget was no help, the woman who answered the phone said her screen showed 3 days, she didn't care what my reservation confirmation said. I told her I really did not need a truck for 3 days...we had the truck completely emptied by 6pm that nite, so the truck sat for 2 days. The truck was in horrible condition....filth, garbage, and cigarette butts everywhere. The tires were a nitemare waiting to happen. Needless to say, a $140 rental ran into $225 with all the hidden charges, extra day added on, etc.

do not use this company...you will be sorry you did. And Ralph needs a new job, one that does not deal with consumer services, he is one nasty, mean guy.
