After our home burned down my husband and I bought aplasma magnavox tv from a local Badcock store. We paid over 3500 with Service Protection Plus atrademark of GE Company, the 500 dollar extra coverage we thought would be a good deal for 5 years extra coverage. Little did we know it was a contract from hell. Our tv worked fine for two years then one day it started switching off on its on. We had in home repair-not honored. Feb. the fifth of 07 ,picked up for service,returned Feb. 23-returned-not repaired,picked up March 13,returned March 28 not repaired,picked up April 16, returned May11 not repaired. They said there is a difference in actually repairing and attempting to repair and were going to give it one more attempt. This would be their fourth attempt. They did offer me a 20 dollar gift card for the store for all our aggrivation and stress. There is so much more , we have vidios of what the tv was doing, showed it to them. They put me through pure hell. I finally just lost it with them. Had a breakdown, spent three days in the hospital. When they found out, they said the insurance co. had called come on down and pick out your new tv. I am still mad as hell.
