Back in November of 2016, my unwell mother went into this business to order an exorbitant amount of items including a new pool, hot tub, outdoor patio and barbque completely unaware what she was doing. She provided them with $5,000 in cash and over $12,000 between two credit cards. Maybe a few weeks afterwards, me and some other immediately family approached the owner Dean Jr. about this purchase and explained how she had a stroke as of recent and she was making outrageous purchases including new cars, animals, and other unnecessary and unneeded purchases. She was mentally uncapabale of processing what she was even doing and this put a lot of hurt in her family, emotionally and finacially. When explaining this to Dean Jr. he first tried to sound empathetic and saying how he had a similar issue with his own mother. I won't lie, at first I thought this "family owned" business actually cared. BUYER BEWARE - IT'S ALL B.S.!

Still in November of 2016, and Dean Jr. Says," well there's nothing we can do at this point, it's in corporates hands." I thought this was a family owned private business?! He said it would take up to six weeks for any refund to be made. He also tried to say that the pool she ordered was a "special, custom order." Again, B.S., bc the model she ordered was a floor model, which he said "well because put the deposit on it (actually paid in full for it" that he was unable to sell the pool to any other customer who'd be interested and that he lost money. AGAIN, full of crap, I am in professional sales and I am very aware with protocols when doing refunds. I told him wed even be willing to pay a 20% Restocking fee, which most commerical businesses charge for returns even though it was only within 3 weeks. As soon as we disputed the charges on the credit card, because of my mother's physical and mental state, this poor excuse of a business immediately became non-compliant. Dean Jr. said, "because we saw charge-backs on the card, we will no longer work to get your refund." WE also paid $5,000 in cash!

It is now June 2017, the only reason we got the credit card charges back was because we had to relentlessly fight with the credit card company since Backyard Masters kept putting the charge through when they'd see a charge back. My mother and family didn't even recieve a 'cup of water' metaphorically speaking, let alone a refund. 7 months later, no product (not that it's wanted) and no refund. Give my sick mother, who has been in the hospital 3 times since this incident, her money back! Will pursue litigation, will involve all media outlets.
